In reply to: [Enable Media Replace] Litespeed cache interferingHey roxanegunn,
This sounds like the typical cache issue. I’m afraid that there’s not much we can do here as we have no control over what LiteSpeed Cache does 🙁
Here’s an article we wrote about this anyway: https://shortpixel.com/article/158-in-enable-media-replace-the-image-isnt-replaced-why
Cheers!

In reply to: [Enable Media Replace] Fatal on plugin activationHi Ingrid,
A couple of questions:
- Does this happen on a different multisite, or is it only happening on this one?
- Can you try to enable it with all other plugins deactivated?
- What if you try to upload the plugin instead of installing it from the WordPress repository?
Thanks.

In reply to: [Enable Media Replace] Conflict with Media File Renamer pluginThank you Gal,
I did just as you told me, but even with Enable Media Replace deactivated I am not getting the filename renamed. I’m not sure if I’m following the same steps as you, so could you please send us:
- Screenshots of the Media File Renamer settings (all screens).
- A screen recording showing how you reproduce the issue.
Thank you!
Hi trmkr,
We have not built any compatibility with Enable Media Replace yet, so issues can be expected. I would recommend you installing ShortPixel Image Optimizer instead for better compatibility with Enable Media Replace.
Having said that, it is true that the “unsmushed” backup image is not removed upon restoring the image, which seems to be a bug. I will forward it to the developers so they can fix it.
Stay tuned to your updates 🙂

In reply to: [Enable Media Replace] Very useful but….Hi Joseph,
Unfortunately, we cannot provide support in a review thread. Would you be so kind as to open a new thread in the ShortPixel Image Optimizer support forums (not Enable Media Replace)?
Thank you!

In reply to: [Enable Media Replace] How Does the Deal with WebP Images?Hi heyjoecampbell,
No, Enable Media Replace will not overwrite the original WebP images. Instead, it removes them so ShortPixel Image Optimizer can re-create them after the replace.
Hope that helps.

In reply to: [Enable Media Replace] Conflict with Media File Renamer pluginHi Gal,
I just installed on a test server the two plugins, Enable Media Replace and Media File Renamer. Then I enabled the Rename Field on Media File Renamer settings. And finally I changed the filename of an image.
Everything worked as it should, the file was renamed correctly. Most probably there is a conflict with another plugin, so I recommend you to deactivate all plugins except these two to verify this. And if the issue still happens then, if you could provide us a step by step about how to reproduce the issue, that’d be appreciated.
Thank you!
