We’ve responpded to all tickets, can you check your spam? Can you provide me with your ticket number? I’m happy to light a fire under our team if necessary.
Hi there,
This question is regarding our paid add-ons. The moderators of this forum require that all inquiries about paid products happen elsewhere. Please use our Priority Support page for your inquiry and we’ll get back to you very soon:

HI there,
That workaround you mention is not about our plugin — it’s not something we can fix. It’s just a matter of how extra markup can be carried over when copying/pasting into WordPress.
But glad you got it worked out! Let us know if you have additional questions at all.
HI James,
I’m Head of Support, we’ve emailed quite a bit over the years. I reviewed your support ticket history in detail and we’ve responded to every inquiry over the past 3 years (including your free support question). I do notice that you are frustrated with the lack of Recurring Donations support for Braintree — we’re frustrated by that too; it’s really a lack of proper API support on their end that keeps us from being able to support it with the quality our users expect from our products.
I’m following up with you personally over email. I’m hoping we can connect personally and get to the bottom of whatever remaining issues you might have. I’ve said it before, but it’s still true: your success with online donations is our first priority. Check your email, I hope to hear from you soon.
Awesome, great to hear! I do hope I’ll join you for some Turkish food one day!
Hi there,
Let me clarify a few things first:
1. I never suggested getting outside help. We can help you
2. Please understand that what you are encountering is unique to your website — this is not a bug with GiveWP. So I’m working to try to support you to troubleshoot your website.
3. This is free support that we offer for our users. We do our best to respond quickly but your patience is appreciated. If you see in the doc link that Siteground pointed you to, one known issue with Siteground specifically is sometimes their SG Super Cacher plugin and it’s support of database caching.
I’d suggest the following:
1. Login to your Siteground cPanel account and open their “Super Cacher” settings. Make sure that ALL caching is disabled there and also clear all the caches there.
2. If you do not yet have any donations or donors or forms created at all (meaning you’re just getting up and running with GiveWP then you should be able to delete everything from the plugin and start over (while Super Cacher is still totally off). To do that best, go to “Donations > Settings > Advanced” and enable the option to delete all data. Then deactivate and delete GiveWP, and then install it again and test.
I would recommend doing all those things while you have all other plugins deactivated if possible. That’s the best way to ensure that none of your other plugins are the cause of the problem. Then once everything is working as intended, you can activate the other plugins one at a time and check whether the problem is there again. If you activate a plugin and notice the problem again, let me know which plugin you activated and which you already have activated and I can test to see if I can replicate the problem you’re encountering.

In reply to: [GiveWP - Donation Plugin and Fundraising Platform] Frustrating…I’m sorry to hear that. I and Ben Meredith both were providing guidance on your Support ticket:
https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/topic/completed-donations-still-show-pending-or-abandoned-in-donations-list/It seemed you were having trouble with the Stripe webhooks, which we have detailed docs to help overcome — and I’ll reiterate that that is a requirement of Stripe’s, it’s not about GiveWP just something that has to be done when using the latest API from Stripe.
If there are other aspects of our plugin that are frustrating or difficult I’d love to help clarify for you further if possible. Just let us know, we’re here to help.

In reply to: [GiveWP - Donation Plugin and Fundraising Platform] User roleHi there,
That’s an interesting use-case and scenario. Technically that is of course totally possible because WordPress allows users to have multiple user roles and capabilities.
But the real question is what you want that user to be able to do on your website.
GiveWP has several different user roles specific to GiveWP donors with associated capabilities. Here’s a few handy links as a reference:
Review those resources and let me know if you have additional questions.
Thanks!
That is a great doc that is helpful overall. We actually have a lot of users on Siteground and they all use GiveWP with no issues. Try to follow the steps in the doc and let me know what you discover.
HI there, please see our Stripe Free docs here. You’ll need to setup your webhooks in order for your donations to be updated to Complete when Stripe completes them. That is a necessary step that Stripe has mandated in their latest versions.
Thanks!

In reply to: [GiveWP - Donation Plugin and Fundraising Platform] StripeYes. See our announcement about that here including important details about how it works.
Thanks!
Perhaps you have some security settings at the server level that are preventing your WordPress site from creating custom database tables? Are you able to ask your web host about that?
Our support is typically unavailable on the weekends; but I just happened to stumble on your topic here.
That is most often a plugin conflict. I’d suggest using the Health Check plugin to troubleshoot that. It will allow you to deactivate all plugins and put your site on a default theme ONLY for yourself — your live visitors will not see that. We have a write-up on that here:
https://givewp.com/documentation/resources/troubleshoot-wordpress-websites-health-check/Then you can enable plugins one at a time and test again until you see the problem again. Then let me know which plugin caused the conflict and I can take a closer look at replicating the issue for you.
Thanks!
We don’t have a live demo, or free version, but reach out to our team via our Contact Page and we’ll help you the best we can.
Hi there,
Can you clarify a bit what you mean by the “GIVE” button text? Can you provide a link to your GiveWP form so we can see what you mean?
By default the GiveWP forms allow you to customize the Submit button to whatever text you want, but the default says “Donate Now” You’ll find that in your Form Edit screen, in the “Display Options” tab with the setting “Submit Button”.
See here:

Additionally, GiveWP is already translated into many different languages. If your site settings are set to Spanish (ES) then GiveWP will automatically show everything in Spanish.
There are a few more details to this convo as well, but it depends a bit on exactly which text you’re trying to translate and what your site environment is, so the more detail you can provide the better.
Thanks!
