Thanks, Archita.
Isn’t it possible to simply disable that
skip-lazyclass? Even if it’s with a filter or something? Some of us know what we are doing, and not being able to remove the class is causing issues. In this case, I would like to use a different optimization plugin to lazy load the images, because Kadence is not lazy loading them. From what I see in the developer tools, all images from the carousel are loaded at once. You can see it by yourself here: https://onlinestandart.com/Thanks!
Hi heyjoecampbell,
The correct backup path is this one: https://morejersey.com/wp-content/uploads/ShortpixelBackups/wp-content/uploads/nj-farmers-market-table-with-fresh-organic-vegetable-morejersey-IMG240327094302.jpg
Have a good one!
To be honest, it’s the first time I see this; looks like we are all learning new things 🙂
I just thought: Maybe you can just get in touch with the bbPress team? They should be able to tell you what that folder is. And I’m pretty sure the image size could be related to that.
Thanks, jasperdemann, for running those test.
Maybe you can get in touch with the LiteSpeed Cache team, show them your settings and ask them to confirm whether your images are being optimized by them?
The only other option I can think of is that what you are actually checking is a thumbnail, not the original size. So it looks like the image is optimized, but in reality we are talking about the thumbnail that WordPress creates. Maybe you can send us the URL of the image that is supposedly optimized?
Thank you.
Hi @jasperdemann,
I’m not really sure what happened there, to be honest. Could you make a quick test?
- Deactivate reSmush.it
- Upload an image
- Wait a couple of minutes
- See if it gets optimized
- Activate reSmush.it
- Do steps 2 to 4 again
What’s the result?
Hey jasperdemann,
No, they won’t be optimized because they are still outside the standard WordPress uploads folders (the bb_medias folder is not one of them). Please do try ShortPixel Image Optimizer if you would like to have those optimized 🙂
Cheers!

In reply to: [Enable Media Replace] Can’t remove backgroundHi there,
Thank you for your message. We’re sorry to hear about this problem. 🙁
In order to help you troubleshoot this, it would be helpful if you could provide us with some additional information, including:
- Screenshots or a screen recording showing the issue in action. If possible, please include relevant links as well.
- Your site information. Please navigate to Tools > Site Health > Info, click on the “Copy site info to clipboard” button and paste the information in your reply.
We look forward to working with you to resolve the issue.
Thank you.
Hi jasperdemann,
If BuddyBoss is uploading images to folders that are not the standard WordPress ones (/wp-content/uploads/), I’m afraid that reSmush.it won’t optimize those. I would recommend you switching to ShortPixel Image Optimizer, there you can add custom folders to the optimization 🙂
Cheers!

In reply to: [Enable Media Replace] Compatibility with Safe SVG plugin?Hi esgeiger,
Thanks for your message!
I was able to reproduce the issue, so I’ll forward it to our developers to fix. Unfortunately, I don’t have any ETA for this, but do stay tuned to your updates 🙂
Best,
Hi Jorge,
Yes, of course. Just deactivating the plugin will not affect your images nor your backups 🙂
Have a good one!

In reply to: [Enable Media Replace] A great time saver when it works!Hi there,
Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with our plugin. We’re glad to hear that you’ve found it helpful, though we regret that it’s not always been consistent in your case. From what you’ve described, the issue is most likely related to browser caching, which can sometimes prevent the updated images or thumbnails from displaying immediately. We always recommend clearing the browser cache or using an incognito window to see the latest changes.
That said, our goal is to ensure that Enable Media Replace works smoothly across all setups, and we’re continuously working on improvements. If you encounter any specific cases where it doesn’t behave as expected, we would be happy to troubleshoot further.
Thank you again for your feedback, and we hope the plugin continues to serve you well.
Thanks for your review, ijazbhatti! 🙂

In reply to: [reGenerate Thumbnails Advanced] Обновление миниатюрHi southklad,
This plugin aims only to regenerate the thumbnails. Unfortunately, it will not replace the old links on your pages.
Let me know if you have any further questions.

In reply to: [Resize Image After Upload] Resize existing images in media libraryHi, Arno!
Yes, of course, you can achieve that with ShortPixel Image Optimizer. It has a “Resize large images” option that you can use with the bulk optimization feature to resize all your existing media 🙂
Cheers!
Thanks, kolicoski, for your review!
