Hello @ernieh,
I have tested this on a local instance and unfortunately I was not able to replicate this issue.
I would like to ask you for the following:
1. Could you send me a screenshot of the Plugins page at Dashboard -> Plugins -> Installed Plugins. Please make sure that our plugin as well as its version is visible.
Note: You can use a site like https://snipboard.io/ to share the screenshots.
2. Could you please send the PB settings? Please install the “Import and Export Settings Add-on” from Profile Builder –> Add-ons. Then export your Profile Builder settings and send the file. If I’m able to replicate it locally we should be able to find a solution for it.Note: Please send the file you exported to our email address: [email protected]
Hello @sebhowarth
I would like to ask you for some additional information regarding this issue:
1. Could you please tell me what country you are located in?
2. Please send a screenshot from your PayPal account where that setting is located.
Note: Since this is a public forum, please make sure any sensitive/personal data in the screenshots are blurred/hidden.
Webhooks is also stuck on “waiting for data”
-> The Webhooks Status field from the PayPal connection area in settings will tell you if webhooks are being received correctly. You should see this field change to Connected as soon as you process your first payment.Note: You can use a site like https://snipboard.io/ to share the screenshots.
Hello @ranawaleed007,
You mentioned clearing the cache of your website. The issue you have described is most likely related to a caching issue. Could you please:
1. Exclude our pages, the pages created with our shortcodes from the cache, and check if the issue persists?
2. If you have any caching enabled via a plugin or from your hosting, please disable them temporarily and check if the issue still persists (you can check with the hosting about this).
3. Please create a new page on your site and on this new page add only the PMS login form shortcode and check if the issue still persists.Hello @developer2210,
In order to have a Select field that is required have a default value that will be rejected if no other value is selected, you will need to add an empty option while creating the field by starting with a “,”.
Example:
Options: ,yes,no
Labels: Please select an option,Yes,NoHello @tranowebmaster,
Unfortunately there is currently no way of translating Paid Member Subscriptions using WPML. I have added your request to our features request list. This means that it might be implemented in a future version of our plugin however I cannot provide you with an estimate as to when this might be.Hello @mbv,
I have noticed that someone replied to your other forum post with the following message:It looks like the post type doesn’t have archive view.
'has_archive' => falseDid this by any chance help fix your issue?
Hello @gabriele1986,
Unfortunately this is currently not possible with Paid Member Subscriptions alone.
If you wish to achieve this, you can do so by installing our other plugin, Profile Builder.
If you decide to install PB, go to Profile Builder -> Manage Fields and add the Subscription Plans Field. All the Subscription Plans created with PMS will be displayed inside PB’s Registration Form. Users will be able to register/subscribe using PB’s Registration Form.
To remove the repeat password field from the Profile Builder Registration Form, you can navigate to Profile Builder -> Form fields and just delete the Repeat Password field.Hello @donna4u2,
When it comes specifically to our plugin, we have the following recommendations that can help when fighting spam registrations:First of all, please make sure you have Profile Builder up to date. The latest version is: Profile Builder version 3.13.6.
Now when it comes to spam registrations, with Profile Builder you have access to reCaptcha field that should help you reduce spam.
Note: For our reCAPTCHA field, you can try using the V3 implementation since this is the newest one which is invisible (doesn’t require user action) + it should be more secure than the other implementations. You can read more about this here.
Other than this, you will need to make sure that you don’t have any other registration forms active on your site. For example, other registration forms created with different plugins.Hello @robbielokeoys,
Thank you for reporting this issue.
I have tested this on a local instance and managed to replicate the issue. I have forwarded this to our development team and they will work on implementing a fix in a future version of our plugin. Unfortunately I cannot provide you with an estimate as to when this might be.
Thank you for your patience!Hello @studioporpora,
I have imported the settings you have provided to test this on a local instance.
Unfortunately I was not able to reproduce the issue and everything worked as expected. In this case, it is possible that there is a caching issue. Do you have any caching solutions? (a caching plugin or a caching provided by your host)
If so, these are the next steps you could take:
1. Could you please exclude our pages, the pages created with our shortcodes from the cache. After doing so, please check if the issue persists and make sure to perform a hard refresh of your page (CTRL + F5 for windows) to ensure the changes have been applied.2. If you have any caching enabled via a plugin or from your hosting, please disable them temporarily and check if the issue still persists (you can check with the hosting about this).
3. Please create a new page on your site and on this new page add only the PB registration form shortcode and check if the issue still persists by creating a new test account
Hello @deejayvu,
We sincerely apologize for the delay in responding to your support ticket. We understand how frustrating it can be to wait when you’re trying to resolve an issue, and we truly appreciate your patience. We have replied to your open ticket this Tuesday (1st of April) with a potential solution to your issue.I assure you that if our plugin does not function correctly on your site, we will provide a hassle-free refund. However, I’d love the opportunity to assist you further, as restricted pages should work seamlessly with our plugin. Let’s troubleshoot this together to find a solution!
The issue you are facing on your website is most likely a caching issue. I noticed that caching is enabled on your GoDaddy server. Could you please exclude the page you would like to restrict as well as all the pages that contain our plugins shortcodes from the cache on your GoDaddy server by following the steps provided on their documentation page here: https://www.godaddy.com/en-ph/help/cache-exceptions-41618?
After doing so, please check if the issue persists and make sure to perform a hard refresh of your page (CTRL + F5 for windows) to ensure the changes have been applied.
I hope you’ll allow me to continue assisting you with this. Please let us know how we can help move things forward.
Hello @studioporpora,
Thank you for the kind words. We are thrilled to hear that you consider our plugin excellent!
Regarding the issue you are facing, I would like to ask you for some additional information:
-> Could you please send the PB settings? Please install the “Import and Export Settings Add-on” from Profile Builder –> Add-ons. Then export your Profile Builder settings and send the file. If I’m able to replicate it locally we should be able to find a solution for it.
Note: Please send the file you exported to our email address: [email protected]Hello @wildeoffice,
You mentioned not being able to access the restricted pages even with an administrator account.
This issue could be caused by a caching issue. Are you by any chance using any caching solutions? (Another plugin for caching or caching provided directly by your host)
If so, could you please remove any pages that contain our shortcode (as well as the page with the content restriction enabled) from the cache and please check if the issue persists. Make sure to perform a hard refresh to your page (CTRL + F5 for windows) to ensure the changes have been applied.Hello @mbv,
What you have described sounds like a new custom feature. I have forwarded your request to our development team but unfortunately I cannot give you an estimate nor can I guarantee that this feature will be implemented in the near future.
Thank you for your patience!Hello @elisirdargan,
I have tested this on a local instance and it seems like you are correct, regardless of the filter or status, both hooks fired upon placing an order.
I will notify our development team and we’ll conduct further investigations.
Thank you for reporting this issue!
